About Environmental Chimney Service
Since 1992, Environmental Chimney Service has helped homeowners in Asheville, Hendersonville, Mars Hill and Rutherfordton care for their fireplaces, heating stoves and chimneys. We’re certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America, and we believe in providing top-notch services to keep our customers’ homes and families safe from the hazards of chimneys and fireplaces that are dirty or in disrepair. We clean and inspect chimneys and clothing dryer vents, and we perform chimney repairs and maintenance services such as waterproofing and deep cleaning. We also sell and install fireplaces, heating stoves, fireplace inserts, fireplace doors, gas logs and more.
Our Open Positions
If you’re interested in a new career opportunity, whether you have the training or not, Environmental Chimney Service might be looking for you. Our open positions include:
- Lead technician. For our lead technician role, we’re looking for someone who has experience servicing chimneys and fireplaces. This person will help to clean and inspect chimneys, and will help to sell and install fireplaces, heating stoves and accessories, and perform needed repairs. This person must know how to use a computer or tablet, and sales experience is a bonus.
- Technician assistant. This position is perfect for someone who is looking for a new career opportunity and is willing and able to learn a new trade. This is an apprenticeship position, and the person hired will learn everything they need to know to become a lead technician with the goal of having them to advance to a lead technician role after 6 months. No experience is needed for this role; it’s ideal for someone who is willing to work hard and open to learning new things.
- Receptionist. The receptionist will be in charge of answering phones, calling clients, scheduling service appointments and filling out and filing office paperwork. As receptionist, you’ll be charged with providing our customers with a positive customer service experience. Good organization skills, positive attitude and friendly demeanor are a must!
